DIRECT ACTION
Organize local actions and public pressure around ICE activity and local cooperation with immigration enforcement.
ABOUT
ICE Out of SLO County is a local community-led organization working to protect immigrants, defend human rights, and challenge harmful immigration enforcement practices in San Luis Obispo County.
We organize direct action, respond when ICE activity affects our community, monitor local government and law enforcement, document what is happening, and help connect people with trusted legal and immigration resources.
WHO WE ARE
We are a local community-led, direct-action and accountability organization focused on protecting immigrant communities in San Luis Obispo County.
Our work combines public action, community support, documentation, and local government and law enforcement accountability.
WHAT WE DO
Organize local actions and public pressure around ICE activity and local cooperation with immigration enforcement.
Respond when ICE activity affects our community, including activity connected to the County Jail.
Document ICE activity and monitor local government and law enforcement decisions.
Connect people with trusted legal, immigration, Know Your Rights, mutual-aid, and community resources.
HUMAN RIGHTS ARE LOCAL
Immigrants are our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family members. They deserve safety, dignity, due process, and the same fundamental human rights as everyone else.
What happens at our County Jail, in our neighborhoods, and inside local government matters. We work to keep ICE activity visible, hold public agencies accountable, and stand with people and families affected by immigration enforcement.

WHY THIS MATTERS LOCALLY
Federal immigration enforcement intersects with local government, law enforcement, public facilities, and local policy. Those decisions affect people in our community.
We keep local attention focused on those decisions and the people affected by them.
